Udayalur Kalyanaraman: New Year's 2009

A very good (both in terms of audio clarity and the music itself) recording of one of the best Bhagavathars out there today, Udayalur Kalyanaraman. Accompaniments are wonderful, though the violin is a little off pitch at times. Babu Rajashekar on the Mridangam is superb as always.

This was a New Year recording which seems to have started at 9 pm on Dec 31st 2008 and gone on till around 12:15 on 1st Jan 2009. The recording is around 3 hours long and he covers various aspects in his usual jovial and interesting style. Definitely worth a hear.
