One of the best renditions of this song I have ever heard. This song also holds special significance to me because this was recorded during the first live concert of Mandolin Srinivas that I attended.
There's another wonderful experience I have related to this song. As Srinivas was ending his RTP in Kalyani, I borrowed a pen from the person sitting next to me and proceeded to write down 'Jagadodharana - Kapi'. Unfortunately, the person saw what I was writing and said something to the effect of "Don't bother giving this chit, he won't play Krishna songs during Rama Navami". Due to this, I didn't give the chit but folded it and kept it into my pocket. I was quite disappointed because this is one of my favourite songs/ragas and I wanted to hear it live from my idol..
As I was thus pondering my bad luck, I heard Srinivas play a short alapana that sounded like Kapi (but I was not sure because he only played a few notes). My heart began to beat faster and I was just praying that he would play at least a song in Kapi raga next. Hardly had the thought run across my mind when the familiar first line of Jagadodharana greeted my ears. I was ecstatic that such a coincidence had occured and thoroughly enjoyed the performance.

Indeed, it is a wonderful rendering. Thanks for posting it. I am unable to download it; would appreciate if you could send me the file to (iapsmurthy@rediffmail.com).
Thanks.
